Botox, bums and boobs, BUGGER….It’s Bobbie Brown!
Norma Jean liked it hot.
Billie Jean was not Michael Jacksons lover.
Bobbie Jean is my Cherry Pie.
So, can Ms Bobbie Brown actually roller skate? “Well, I could, back in Junior High,” Brown giggles,” I had the skates, with the hot pink laces, but you have to keep practising, right? I think in that scene from Cherry Pie someone had pushed me, but I really was falling over!”There has always been something about Bobbie Jean Brown that makes it difficult to stop looking at her. A true Southern Starlet, she made her mark modelling and then a little later as the roller skating hottie in the Warrant video, for the song Cherry Pie back in 1990. Brown was 20. She of course went on to marry and have a daughter with then Warrant front man Jani Lane, the two divorced not much later.
Lane died from alcohol related causes in August 2011.
Brown is now appearing in the Tricon Films and Television/Slice Network Friday night new release, Ex-Wives of Rock, airing in Canada only, at this time.
In the TV show Brown sometimes appears insecure. She is in a relationship with yet another addict and is finding it difficult competing with her former self. Is her attraction to addictive personalities something that just happens by accident? “I don’t know, I guess, although Matthew Nelson was sober when I was with him. People say you are attracted to men like your father. Mine was an alcoholic and an abusive man, so it may be right.” Brown told Headbangerwoman. Her relationship with former Warrant front man Jani Lane was often fuelled by his anger, usually when Lane and his alcohol were in partnership.Maybe there is a part of her that thinks she can help to make these addictive personalities well? “It could be that, you know I am a very concerned person. I am motherly, cooky, dorky and care taking. Of course I sometimes get sucked right in and then people just expect me to care for them.” Despite the turbulent relationship Brown still had contact with Lane when he died, she shares, “I think Jani knew he could call me any time up until the time of his death. We spent his last Thanksgiving together and would sometimes have lunch, however his drinking did still cause him to fight with those he loved. In the month of his death he called and asked if he could move in with me. My boyfriend was in re-hab and we actually had a basement suite for rent and a spare bedroom. Jani asked if he could have the spare room, his suggestion made it seem as though he wanted to live as part of the family in the main house. I still find it perplexing that he would come to his first wife for help after all that time! Of course I couldn’t say yes, I had a boyfriend. That decision still makes me feel guilty, but I know I must rationalize it.”It would appear as though Lane realised that Brown was the person he most trusted, the person he could reach out to. The one person he realised would care for him even after previous circumstances had forced them apart.“You know I tried said and did everything to try to make him stop drinking. I still have guilt, I fight with it, but you sometimes have to do what you can for self-preservation.” Brown endured the tumultuous relationship for many years and the couple had a beautiful daughter Taylar, a credit to both parents, now 20 with whom Brown has a friendship type relationship.Brown spent a further year, after the split with Lane engaged to Tommy Lee, another musician, also well-known back in the day as a bit of a drinker!Lane died in a Comfort Inn hotel room with no ID on his person, Brown is not as misfortunate. She is still recognised everywhere and is gaining back her self-confidence after having it destroyed by former abusers.“I was over confident in my younger years.”… Brown was the girl every 80’s rock chick wanted to be and she was judged on the fact that she was, still is, beautiful and she was with the guys every girl wanted to fuck. “I was oblivious to the judgement back in the day and I still am really easy-going. I myself don’t like to see people judged. It’s also pretty easy for people to change my mind!”After recent comments from a woman on Facebook were not so nice about the Ex-wives of Rock, it was interesting to see that Brown was complacent and forgiving when she returned comment about the posting. “I get where people come from when they judge, we are not going to be for everyone.”Wanting to keep up with her former 20-year-old self has led to some pretty drastic actions and they are out there for the world to see as part of the show. Botox injections and hair extensions are on a regular agenda. “The results are so worth it!” exclaims Brown, “so why not? After seven years of daily abuse I wouldn’t look in the mirror. I was told I was fat and ugly on a daily basis. I was put down daily. It is so fucked up. I never have my hair the same in two episodes of the show. I have Trichotillomania, a hair pulling disorder, so I have had periods in my life where I had bald patches on my scalp. Recently it has not been so bad, but I still get extensions. I rarely wear a wig; they are so claustrophobic, hot and itchy. They don’t move like extensions either.”Brown stars in the reality show with three other likely lasses. Sharise Neil, Susan Blue Ashley and the once seen, never forgotten Athena! “We are not four strangers,’’ explains Brown “and it shows through. There is a history, camaraderie, a real bond. It is great that we all relate. Also I think it has helped air my fears and insecurities.”Jealous woman, you should remain that way, this gal is HOT. Mid life men, you still need those tissues! All four women have experienced life in the fast lane, married to musicians; they were part of the rock n roll lifestyle. All four have since come to their senses, moved on and are now living a more real reality.

Bobbie is a needle in a haystack; a true gem found in a sea of inauthentic, shallow people. It’s pretty well known that the music industry is rife with abuse and Bobbie, having been tangled in it with her famous past partners, is also a victim of it. I think Tommy Lee is a man with a plethora of issues and also is an abuser. He abused Bobbie as well as Pamela Anderson and he needs to be called out on it. I have zero respect for Tommy Lee.
It always bothered me how much Bobbie cared for Tommy back then, he clearly is a slime bag and she is way above and beyond a better person than he could ever be. Bobbie tugs at my heart. She doesn’t realize her own value and never has known just how lovely she is, beyond the beautiful face and former beauty crowns. But, she falls for broken men; addicts, abusers, who tend to treat her like garbage and she turns it on herself and asks why me, what is wrong with me? When it is never you, Bobbie – it’s them! Their behavior is about them! (I give Jani a pass, though, as Jani definitely loved Bobbie, he was also a victim and I do not blame Jani one bit.)
Bobbie has such an inner child and she is vulnerable to those who prey upon her innocence…because she is authentic and very deeply kind.
I’ve been rooting for Bobbie Jean Brown since Cherry Pie, and I’m still rooting for her.

Agreed, Take your slander and bad vibes back to where you came from. I’ve met Bobbie and spoken to her on numerous occasions. She is one of the most caring people I have met in Hollywood.

The problem with addicts?…everyone in Hollywood knows that Bobbie Brown is a methamphetamine addict. She used to date her dealer.

You know, this is neither a gossip column or a place to post your slander. I merely interview and write up an article based on what I talk about my interviewee with.
I ALWAYS send back my draft to my subject to proof.
Of course, there are always those that know better, or feel they should have an opinion. That is fine and I am willing to give your malicious gossip space here so that the world may see you for what YOU are.
Bobbie is nothing, if not caring, understanding, humane and beautiful, inside and out.
It is irrelevant whether addiction is, was or will be a part if her life.
YOU should be ashamed.

I don’t think that is true, and is very mean. Just one look at her clear skin, eyes & healthy teeth clearly state just the exact opposite.

I think Bobbie is beautiful. I’m sure it must drive some women crazy that she is still just as beautiful today as she was 20 years ago.
