If you fail to admire the liquid gold vocal that Jann Klose is producing throughout his new record MOSAIC, then you may need to see an Otalaryngologist!
This record made it to first round ballots for the 2014 GRAMMY® Awards for Album of the Year and Pop Vocal Album.
Following indie success with REVERIE in 2008 and SACRIFICE Ep in 2010, MOSAIC gives you a taste of a variety. If you are a fan of Vanessa Mae, Kenny Rogers, Richard Clayderman or The Carpenters you will get it.
If you are not, you will still get it. Sounds of Africa, America and 80’s England happen here and they will entice you rapidly.
Much melodic music is used; piano, percussion, guitar and keyboard, yet Klose relies on none of it. It is merely an nice accompaniment to the stunning vocal of this man.
Klose shares the sounds of his youth in this very short piece, he was born in Germany and raised there, Kenya and South Africa.
He speaks his mind here too.
There are no riddles. Just truths. Each song on this production is telling a short story, each one with a real message.
At just over 30 minutes, one could argue you have been short changed, but it is also true you will be eager for the next production from this very talented musician.
Look out for Klose live! He currently tours steadily through Europe, Asia and The US.
