James Steele

When you talk about luck, you are likely not discussing musician James Steele.

His bio will explain that nicely without it being repeated here.  Besides here is the place to put focus on what is going on with Steele present and future.  Not in the past.

Steele recently became an official artist of Dean Guitars.  That’s gotta be a good thing…

And with names such as Billy Sheehan (Mr Big) and Brad Gillis (Nightranger) on side for his new music venture, Steele is proving that with a little persistence and a boat load of patience, luck can change.

Some Of These Days is still in production, but if you are a fan of no bullshit, guitar lead, straight up rock n roll, this one is well worth a listen.

Good Day to Die will immediately conjure up memories of LA Guns, Motley Crue and Judas Preist.  Heavy Metal is here.  No messing.

Don’t Cry me a River will ignite a vision of early Alice Cooper, simple opening riffs and heavy ass vocals.

Rule Brittania opens It Goes to Eleven.  A nicely paid spoof homage, to a spoof rock star.  If you have heard of Nigel Tufnel you’ll get it, and it’s likely to make you chuckle.  This Steele fella has a very wry sense of humor, and his guitar chops are fairly fucking fantastic too.

Not to mention guitar chops, this guy is the vocalist on all these tracks, and he can belt it out, no doubt there.

The opening bars of Can It be The Same (feat Brad Gillis) will perhaps spark memories of the haunting voice, and oh so perfect form that was 80’s Mark Slaughter with The Vinnie Vincent Invasion on the song Love Kills….. and a little further in you’ll get hints of any given Dokken tune.

For those of you that still want to listen to the great music of your youth, this is your segway.  It’s fresh and new, but it’s hair is still long, and it’s leather pants still give you that great outline of a great ass!

Great memories, making new memories.

No luck needed here Mr Steele
