A live event will take palce at Encore in West Edmonton Mall. Tickets are ONLY $10!
This event started 4 years ago when local man Allan Hall, was diagnosed with a rare form of Cancer. He decided he was going to say “Fuck Cancer” and have a party. This event now raises money for the Alberta Cancer Foundation’s Patient Financial Assistance Program, through the Cross Cancer Institute. Sadly, Al died early in December 2014, ironically not to Cancer, but for other health reasons, so this year work is being done even harder, so as to move forward fast, in his honour.
Four years ago this even was in was a neighborhood pub.
2013 raised $5400
2014 over $7000… and now it’s selling out Encore at West Edmonton Mall.
In 2015 Rock 4 The Cure is planning on crushing the $10,000 raised for the program mark.
There is also a Friday night event in Red Deer for the first time.
