While Ziggy Stardust will live forever, today the news is filled with reports that Stardusts alter ego, David Bowie (Jones) died yesterday, Sunday, January 10th 2016. He no longer has five years.
Bowie was only two days into his 69th year.

LAZARUS
Bowie’s son Duncan confirmed the news on Twitter. A simple tweet; “Very sorry and sad to say it’s true.” This was paired with news from Bowies publicity team that he had been ill with cancer for at least 18 months. And while there had been much recent speculation surrounding the health of Bowie, the news came as a great shock to most everyone, but close family.
David Bowie Official on Facebook stated just this; “January 10 2016 – David Bowie died peacefully today surrounded by his family after a courageous 18 month battle with cancer. While many of you will share in this loss, we ask that you respect the family’s privacy during their time of grief.”

So it would seem that Motorhead main bloke Lemmy, was indeed not immortal.
Today he died. Killed by Death.
Lemmy was reportedly sitting close to a video game when he expired. A game that he loved, which had been recently transported from his favorite hang out; The Rainbow Bar and Grill, on Hollywood’s “Sunset Strip”, to his apartment a very short distance away.
While many the world over, including Headbangerwoman, are very saddened by the passing of Lemmy, it has to be said that many other men living as he did; free and wild, would have rarely made it to 40, never mind 30 years beyond that.
Lemmy was a smoker, a drinker, and a previous drug user.
This takes away nothing from him being an extremely talented musician and writer.
Lemmy turned 70 just days ago, on Christmas Eve,
December 24, 2015.
While Lemmy had been plagued with heart illness and diabetes, along with other health issues in recent years, he was only diagnosed with “an aggressive type of cancer” two days ago, on Boxing Day, December 26, 2015.
He expired on December 28, 2015.
This man did not fuck about.
Lemmy celebrated his birthday at The Whisky a Go Go in Hollywood just over a week ago.
This man was a living legend.
He will be mourned and missed the metal world over.

Recently, Art of Dying lent their song All I want Is Everything to a mini documentary by/about three homeless young folk, in collaboration with San Diego based Outreach; Urban Street Angels.
Music can always tell a story. This song shares a very poignant message.
Homelessness youth are at great risk.
Watch the film, and if you can, help….
Even if that just means sharing the message.
Thanks
